Ambassadors promote literature from their countries at Taipei book fair


Taipei, Feb. 3 (CNA) The Central America Pavilion at this year's Taipei International Book Exhibition (TIBE) is showcasing literary works from Taiwan's Central American allies as a way of deepening people-to-people understanding.



The Ministry of Education holds College Job Fairs for Foreign Students to develop careers in Taiwan.


The Ministry of Education(MOE) co-promotes the policy of " cultivating, retaining, and attracting talents" to help foreign students and alumni from colleges and universities to work in Taiwan smoothly. The MOE hosted 2023 College Job Fairs for Overseas Chinese and Foreign Students, which attracted more than 1,000 students and alumni from over 70 colleges and universities to participate actively.

Foreigners who Meet Certain Conditions can also Receive NT$6,000 in cash


The Executive Yuan formally pass a special regulation that NT$6,000 red envelopes will be given out to all people after the Spring Festival; Executive Yuan spokesman(羅秉成) said that foreigners who meet certain conditions can also receive NT$6,000 in cash.
New languages are added to the user interface of the Chunghwa Post ATM


To build a more friendly environment for ATM users, Chunghwa Post announced that it will add four more languages – Japanese, Indonesian, Vietnamese, and Thai to more than 3,190 ATMs across Taiwan. The services with added languages include ATM deposit, withdrawal, transfer, payment, balance inquiry, etc.
